This is a fantastic book! If you havent read it you should! I can't wait for the movie to come out in April!

Date Night
Colby and I had a fun date night last night! Since he works the weekends we usually try and go and do something on wednesday or thursday since those are his days off!
So we started our date off by going to look at the puppies at the pet store. Yes, i do know that we already own two crazy dogs, but we still enjoy looking and playing with at all the cute puppies! They had some adorable morkie girl pups that we played with! They were so TINY!!
Then we headed to Bonsai to get dinner! As always dinner was delicious and quick!
We then went to Garden Ridge to loook around! It's always fun to look at the stuff in there! We saw some nice rugs and some interesting decor! We ended up buying the dogs a bed since they (kazzi) destroyed their old one a while back!
As we were going down the long checkout isle we saw all the candy and decided we wanted to go to a movie!
We headed to the Palladium and saw Avatar in 3-D. It is a great movie and the 3-d was pretty cool!
Then we headed back home and got back just in time to watch the womens long free style figure skating. Almost all of them gave flawless shows and exceeded their personal best scores!
I am so glad that we can always have a good time no matter what we are doing together! Thanks for a fun night Colby!

I was proud of myself for the week, maybe two weeks I posted regularly! What happened!!
So here is an update of the past month!
Well we finished painting the entire condo (and by we I mean Colby because apparently I really do suck at painting...even if it is the same color going on the wall.... )
We painted the second bedroom the same color as the master and rearranged the room a little bit so it looks bigger! I have been meaning to take pictures of it but all of the pictures from around the house have been sitting on the bed in there and who wants a picture of that!
The rest of the house was painted basically the same color as it was, we had a lot of scuff marks on the wall from my clumsiness. and my sisters.. and my dads... both of them fell out of our papasan chair when they were here back in '08 and hit the wall.. and I ran into our giant clock on the wall and it fell/slid down the wall leaving a trail of black!
anyways, now our living room and bedrooms are all put back together and looking fantastic!
I was able to shoot my very first wedding a couple of weeks ago! We borrowed Brittany's camera and Colby was able to be a second shooter! It was a lot of fun! I wasnt able to take any pictures outside like I normally do because it was freezing!!, but we got some great shots and I should be done editing them this weekend!
We found a house that we loved about a month ago and put in an offer! and then another and then another... this has gone on for the past 3 weeks! The seller was being a real pain! We finally gave him our final offer this past Friday and gave him the weekend to think about it. We heard back on Monday and he wanted us to go and sign a formal offer. We had been doing it all through emails since the realtors worked through the same company. So, we sign the offer on Tuesday. We were thinking this is good news, right? Why would he waste our time to have us sign an offer if he is wasnt going to say yes? Well this guy just wanted to be a pain in our side. He decided to counter offer our final offer... I didnt even think this was allowed!!! Obviously if we are giving our final offer we arent going to budge! Colby and I were both pretty frustrated that he even had the nerve to do that! We had our realtor express that and that our final offer is a final offer and gave him 24 hours to respond since he already had 5 days to think about it.
Anyways. He did NOT accept it.
I am actually kind of relieved because if we were dealing with this much hassle just with the price, I dont even want to know what we would have had to deal with to get him to do some necessary repairs to the house!
So that's our update.

Paint-phase 1
Since we were basically snowed in today we decided to take advantage of our time and painted the master bedroom! We actually were going to start painting the dining-kitchen-living room but once we started painting we realized we didnt like the color for those rooms. We actually weren't sure if we liked the color at all, but decided to go ahead and paint the bedrooms because we couldn't return the paint. It turned out to be a great color for the bedrooms!
We Love Snow!
We had quite the storm! We woke up to 7.5 inches of the beautiful white stuff! THe dogs had a blast in the snow even though it was up to their chests!

You can expect pictures of doggies in their winter attire soon! I am excited, we were out of town for the last big snow storm, but we aren't missing this one!

Birthday fun
Yesterday I turned the Big 2-2! It was a long day but turned out to be fun!
Colby surprised me with new laundry baskets. They are super nice and just what we needed! They are similar to this one:
Then we went out to eat at Bonzai my favorite Japanese restaurant. The food their is fantastic and so well priced! It is way better than Kabuto (where we went last year for my birthday!) and 1/3 the price because they don't cook it in front of you!
Then we went to the dollar store. I know its silly but this is always our fall back store we go to when we are bored and have nothing elses to do. We had gone in to find the dogs some new toys because Kazzi "killed" all of the ones they did have! We found mini hulk frisbees and a small hippo and rhino! Then we found the greatest treasure!
I was always so amazed with these things when I was little! They are so much fun to play with and watch "grow"! I know, kinda dorky but we had a good time with it! We also went and got ice cream at Coldstone and walked around Garden Ridge and discussed Colby's future man cave/theatre/game room... It was fun!
We finished the night watching the NC State vs Carolina game. I fell asleep during half time but was told that Carolina won!
Thank you everyone for all of the birthday wishes texts, phone calls, and cards! It was a great birthday!
**In case you were wondering, the rhino and hippo didnt make it through the first two hours of their new life. They are missing all four legs, ears, and faces.... may they rest in peace...**
